Artist of the Week - Geraldine Perez is a senior in 2D Art, section 4. Geraldine has continuously been a fantastic artist, in all of her years at Tri-County. For this assignment, Geraldine needed to explore Neurographic Art. Geraldine chose to use permanent marker and watercolor to create this 12" x 9" mixed media, neurographic piece. Geraldine did a great job. Her design and color made her work standout. Her excellent craftsmanship is on display, as always. Geraldine and her creative work will be very missed next year!

Another ExCEL play group is in the books! We had a special guest, Miss River Cities' Teen Ruby Marti! We read "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds and created our own masterpieces! The kids also enjoyed participating in a color song, making shapes with their bodies, and holding hands to make a big circle. If you have a child who is not yet in school, you are welcome to join our next play group on April 25th at 9 am.

Artist of the Week - Arianna Talbot is an 8th grade student in art. Ari's assignment was to create a glass mosaic with a mirror, choosing a good color scheme and shape for her project. Ari did a fantastic job! Ari hand cut her glass pieces and picked out matching glass pebbles for the edge. Her colors and craftsmanship are wonderful. This is Ari's first glass project, and it will be saved for our annual art show in May.

🌸🌿 Our Landscaping and Floral Design students learned how to create beautiful bud vases this week! A huge thank you to Lily Pad Floral for generously donating the supplies that made this hands-on learning experience possible. We’re so grateful for your support in helping our students develop their skills and creativity! 🌷✨

Join Tri-County middle schoolers on Friday April 4th and Saturday April 5th at 7 PM for their production of "This Murder Was Staged!"
It's the opening night of a new murder mystery play and, just when the killer is about to be revealed, the director's body falls out instead! Join us on a hilarious ride to find out who killed the (not so) beloved director when everyone and their mother had a motive to want her gone.

Last month Nadia Schoenstene, Belle Luecking, and Annabelle Sweeney all wrote short stories and placed at the local level of a writing competition held by a Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter.
