Tonight the MS and HS cross country teams travelled to Marion. Everyone ran well in the heat and on a tough course. The top 10 runners in each race and gender medaled. Sydney and Wyatt both ran in the two-mile MS race. Sydney Peck ran it in a time of 16 minutes 57 seconds, took 2nd place, and medaled. Wyatt Howard ran it with a time of 16 minutes 8 seconds, placed 8th, and medaled. Congratulations Sydney and Wyatt! Everyone in HS ran in the Varsity races (3.1 miles). Zoriah Mills ran her race in a time of 25 minutes 41 seconds, placed 7th, and medaled. Congratulations Zoey! Sarah Hicks ran it in 28 minutes 49 seconds. Emily Bohn ran the race with a time of 39 minutes 33 seconds. Addison Peck ran the race in 39 minutes 52 seconds. Great work Penguins! Coach Woyak is very proud of each and every one of her student-athletes. Sydney and Wyatt both ran in the two-mile MS race. Sydney Peck ran it in a time of 15 minutes 42.4 seconds. Wyatt Howard ran it with a time of 15 minutes 36.1 seconds, a new PR by 1 minute 32.9 seconds. Congratulations Wyatt! Everyone in HS ran in the Varsity races (3.1 miles). Last night the MS and HS cross country teams travelled to Westfield. Everyone ran well on the tough course. Everyone on the HS team ran in the varsity race (3.1 miles). Jacob Bacon ran the course in 26 minutes 41.87 seconds. Zoriah Mills ran it in 24 minutes 29.03 seconds. Sarah Hicks had a time of 26 minutes 27.68 seconds. Tessa Macik-Smith’s time was 28 minutes 32.25 seconds, and Angelina Smith’s time was 33 minutes 2.61 seconds. Addison Peck ran the course in 36 minutes 2.96 seconds. Emily Bohn had a time of 37 minutes 58.09 seconds. In the MS race (2 miles) Wyatt Howard ran it with a time of 16 minutes 54.66 seconds, and Sydney Peck ran it in 15 minutes 51.6 seconds. Jacob ran in the Novice (Varsity) race and finished with a time of 25 minutes 21.34 seconds. Angelina Smith and Addison Peck ran in the Novice (Varsity) race. Angelina finished with a time of 29 minutes 58.8 seconds, and Addison finished with a time of 35 minutes 21.74 seconds. Emily Bohn ran in the Junior Varsity race, and finished with a time of 36 minutes and 22.16 seconds. Zoriah Mills and Sarah Hicks ran in the Masters (Varsity) race. Zoriah finished with a time of 23 minutes 52.34 seconds, placed 13th, and received a medal. Sarah finished with a time of 26 minutes 36.45 seconds.
